Marc is an Associate Fellow of the Crick Centre, working towards the research strand on Political Institutions and Democratic Reform. Currently a doctoral research student, his ESRC-funded PhD explores the way in which everyday practices in the House of Commons affect scrutiny of the government. It examines the way that MPs and parliamentary staff interpret their role and how they negotiate their everyday lives in order to better understand what MPs do and how this affects the work of Parliament. As part of his research, Marc has completed an internship with the Committee Office in the House of Commons.
